Cooperative Brokerage Policies
Under most circumstances we are willing to cooperate with other brokers and pay them a share of our commission upon consummation of a sale. The agreement to cooperate should not be assumed. If you are interested in selling any of our listed or owned properties, you must call in advance to secure an agreement to cooperate. At that time we will tell you under what terms and coditions we will cooperate in a sale with you. Please identify yourself as a licensee seeking cooperation before discussing the terms of sale on any of our properties. Do not enter upon any of our listed properties without obtaining our permission first. Please confer with your customers or clients to ensure that they have not discussed the property with us prior to asking for a right to cooperate. We will ordinarily refuse to cooperate with brokers whose clients or customers have had prior contacts with our firm.
Properties listed with the Greater Augusta Multiple Listing Service will be cooperated on terms and conditions offered through the service. Again we will only cooperate if you are the procuring cause of sale.
